Kara's two cats, George and Chloe, were both strays. (George has gone to that great scratching post in the sky.) DaVinci is Kara's cockatiel.

That cute little man is Wallace Wattles, the author of
The Science of Getting Rich, written in 1910. I was really
blown away by the book. It's quite free--no strings attached.
But there is a nifty online course you can take with it, and a message
forum.
Mr. Wattles was one of the original authors (in the West, at least) who wrote about the power of our minds to manifest our desires.
I felt richer just reading the book!
