Jen high up on a ladder in her carport, installing a piece of wood to block glare from the Eastern Phoebe nestcam.  If you look carefully you can see the nest on the ledge, near the left end of the board Jen is holding.  The mother Phoebe was in a nearby tree during this ordeal, looking very worried, but she came back later to feed her babies.

Here I am, installing a predator baffle on the pole of a bluebird nestbox.  (Jen took the nestbox off the pole and set it on the ground for this procedure while the parent bluebirds dive-bombed us!  (Really I'm sort of pretending to do the work, as Jen had to come in and finish it!)
